Site update

Filed under: Reshade development — subpic @ 5:58 pm

Finally, we’ve synced a version of the client algorithm to the one on the site. It works a little faster and has the best accuracy until now for sharpness estimation. Stretching also works nicely, faster than before.

We had some problems yesterday with the increased traffic. Users had to wait a little longer for their resizes. Also, the server crashed several times, but didn’t cause too much downtime. Because of this we had to change the algorithm to a faster but lower quality version. Don’t worry, we’ve changed it back a few minutes ago to the better and faster one. More work in this direction should make it even faster. Hope it won’t lag that much now. Enjoy!
