A peek at the stand-alone reshade

Reshade stand alone version soon to be released in beta. The demo will be available for download on the site. In the meantime check out some of the features:

Highlights:

  • infinite zoom ability, limited to 100x (10000% increase in image area) because of running out of pixels
  • refined edge control
  • smoothing for defects, noise, compression artifacts and other image problems
  • contrast details - small level sharpening
  • accuracy - even finer control over edges in the image
  • zooming on selection & panning enabled

  2. The liquid resize algorithm works best in some cases for shrinking images. When it comes to enlarging them the distortions created are too great. Reshade maintains the original quality best. It offers several settings that can be tweaked to perfection.

    Reshade will have some limits for the free version (zooming factor/maximum image size). All the features will be enabled in the commercial product.

    A beta evaluation client-side application will be available soon.
